Joan K. Goodrich is a senior executive with 35+ years of experience in economic and community development in Southeast Florida. With a strong record of results and a noteworthy collaborative approach, Goodrich has led chambers of commerce, economic development groups, and teams in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
She joined the Business Development Board of Martin County, a public-private partnership for economic development, as Executive Director in 2019. With the help of her 15-member Board, professional team, investors and partners, she is working to strengthen the economic well-being of Martin County, Florida from the inside out.
Goodrich is Chair of the Martin County MPO Freight Technical Advisory Committee and a member of the International Economic Development Council, Florida Economic Development Council, NAIOP, NBAA and Leadership Martin (Class 30). Additionally, she has served as Chair of the Florida Economic Development Council and on the boards of Enterprise Florida, Smart Growth Partnership and South Florida Regional Planning Council.
Goodrich received her B.B.A. in Business Administration (Marketing-Management) from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. She is married and has two adult children.
