Matt Markley
With more than 40 years’ experience in community mental health, Matt Markley is a seasoned leader and advocate for child welfare and family support. As CEO of Hibiscus Children’s Center, Matt brings a wealth of expertise in both clinical and administrative aspects of child welfare and mental health services, guiding the agency’s mission to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable children and families.
With a master’s degree in health services administration. Matt has a deep understanding of healthcare management, continuous quality improvement (CQI) and the challenges faced by communities in need. He has worked in a variety of settings and senior management positions in Ohio and Florida, allowing him to develop a comprehensive approach to addressing the mental health and human service needs of children and families.
Under his leadership, Hibiscus has expanded its programs, strengthened community partnerships and enhanced service delivery, improving outcomes for hundreds of children in need of mental health support, congregate care and family strengthening initiatives. Matt is passionate about breaking down barriers to mental health care and ensuring that every child has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
